A sneak preview of our Easter baskets, and totally busted!

Shane has been really stressed lately, so I told him I would take care of Easter baskets this year, including mine. I mean, it's Easter, not Christmas or a birthday. (He brought me Easter flowers to make up for it, so win-win for me. I get exactly what I want + flowers!)

I decided to have a little theme and we would all get shoes from the Easter bunny.

Collin's basket. The chick does flips. He is going to love that.

I got Lydia real ballet shoes along with a leotard and a tutu.
Can't wait to see her dancing around with a chocolate covered face.

Shane's basket. Very simple this year. Shane and I both hate walking around barefoot, even in the house.  If it is warm, we'll be in flip flops. He is due a new pair and Reef Men's are the best. His last pair lasted 7 years.

I needed some Reef Women's too! Though, I think I am more excited to dive into those almond M&Ms.
(not advertising for reef or anything. we just really, really like those shoes. a lot.)

Speaking of shoes, I got Collin a pair of Easter sandals, and Lydia some play shoes from pediped. When they arrived, Shane looked over Collin's shoes for a moment and then looked at me.

"Natalie, why did you get these shoes?"

"I told you I was going to get Collin some new sandals for Easter."

"Yea, but why these particular ones?"

"You know I love pediped baby shoes. So comfy."

"Ok. But why THESE shoes?"

(By this time I was getting a little annoyed. I took the box from him and started to point out some of things listed on the paperwork.)

"They have memory foam so they mold to their feet. And Lydia's are machine washable. And they are really cute. Are those enough reasons?"

"Sure. I was just wondering if the fact that these shoes are called Collin, had anything to do with your purchase."

Crap. I forgot about that. Yes, I did end up getting these particular pedipeds because they were named Collin. Shane knows me so well. Of course I totally denied it.

Okay. Easter Bunny Duties are done. I've got to go to bed! It's 11pm for heavens sake! I've been spending way too much time on Easter blogging tonight. See even more of our fun here.

Happy Easter!!!!

Your baskets are adorable and Reef sandals ARE the BEST!! I have had mine for about 5 years and they are still my most comfy "summer" shoes!

I love Reefs too! Rainbows are also pretty spectacular if you ever get the itch to change it up! Love the baskets, what a great idea. Happy Easter to you and your family!

Love this. I once bought a pair of shoes just because the style was called 'Kora' with a K! She had to grow into them and has since grown out :( And love both Pedipeds and Reefs!
