35?????

It's my birthday this week. I'm turning 35. 

I'm not sure how it happened so fast. 

I swear it was just last year when I was 23 and engaged to this hot guy named Shane.

Yet somehow I have been married for 11 years, have a mortgage, two babies and crows feet.

Well, the crows feet aren't too bad yet.

Instead of dwelling, I'm doing a little celebrating. 

First I took myself shopping to Anthropologie and bought the pretty turquoise and orange vase pictured above.

You would think I would buy the yellow, but I like to switch it up sometimes.

And there is a good chance I will be going back for the yellow one soon.

Our family is taking a trip down to Salt Lake/Provo to visit some old haunts. From the newlywed days.

 So very long ago.

There will very likely be some of my sister-in-law's plum tart involved 

and some pupusas at El Salvador in Provo.

Maybe even a walk on the street where we lived those first two years of marriage. 

That actually sounds like a pretty nice way to spend a birthday.
