Fourth of July Tutorial.....almost ready!

Sorry if you're hopping over here looking for my Independence day DYI tutorial from the Pops and Podge Giveaway. I was already to have it done early this morning, but then my doctor sent me over to Labor and Delivery to make sure I wasn't in labor. Eeek! Not happy about that since I'm only 33 weeks. Looks like I have a few annoying complications, but baby looks good. I'm home now and just about to get that tutorial up. But for now, enjoy my very favorite Fourth of July Dessert I try to make every year......

4th of July Key Lime Pie

  • 9" graham cracker pie crust
  • 14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 egg yolks (whites not used)
  • ½ cup Nellie & Joe's Key West Lime Juice
  • a few drops of red food coloring
Combine milk, egg yolks and lime juice. Blend until smooth, adding food coloring while blending. Pour filling into pie crust and bake at 350ยบ for 15 minutes. Allow to stand 10 minutes before refrigerating. Just before serving, top with freshly
whipped cream and garnish with blueberries.

The only hong I love more than crafting is key lime pie! This looks so yummy!!!! Any suggestions for substitutes if I can't find the key lime juice in VA?
Oh and so glad you aren't in labor!
