My blogging has seriously suffered lately. I've had a lot going on. 5 weeks until this baby arrives and I'm nesting and getting the nursery ready. I was sicker than I've ever been and went home to recuperate and enjoy some time with family. Our Tennessee home sold

I had a few pregnancy issues and have been directed to take it easy for a few weeks. So maybe that will give me some reason to catch up. Or I'll just start reading another page turner and let blogging slide again. Whichever.
I've had several emails asking what I ended up deciding for our family car. Well, much to the surprise of Shane and I (we were 98% decided on a Honda Odyssey), we ended up going the SUV route.
The price was right and we LOVE the space. And I won't lie, it's a fun car to drive. I'm not saying a mini-van isn't in our future (those sliding doors are quite the perk), but for now, this fits our family quite nicely. And I'm thrilled knowing we have something ready to bring the baby home in.
In 5 weeks.
Wow. That isn't very far off.
(P.S. The SUV is a Cadillac Escalade. Which feels and looks a lot like a suburban. But has the bonus of being called "The Caddy".)
