An anniversary of sorts
8 years ago yesterday Shane and I went on out first "date". We had already been friends for a while, but this was our first time out together alone. Mid-way through our day together, I saw my friend Lisa and she asked "how is your day with Shane?". I casually replied "I'm pretty sure that I am going to marry him." I really wasn't joking either.

you forgot about the part after you said "i'm going to marry him". I said "no I'M going to marry him!", and then it just got messy. But as you can see, Natalie won.
just kidding.
And Shane came back from that and said, "She's incredible, we are so much alike, She's basically 'Shanette'." (not exact quote but something like that). To which I was told I could never tell you that he called you that, but I think you found out sometime ago.
Anyways, he was smitten from day one too.
