Then I looked down at myself.
This is not a joke.
Right now I am wearing....
A hideously baggy brown sweater,
black yoga pants,
knock off Uggs
Oh AND.....
a faded pink bathrobe (It's so cold!)
Let's add....
a large green apron
no make up,
glasses,
unwashed hair in bun.
And one last thing....
In my hair are several of Lydia's hair clips that I found under the couch and haven't put away yet.
I am so totally nasty.
Welcome home to the dream Shane!
It's such joy to turn into the total incarnation of the woman you swore you would never become. That's okay. The party hats turned out really cute.
Have a great weekend!

I could be wrong, but I bet that woman you once were said you wouldn't go out like that. You're safe. Your at home. Thanks for the smile.
Well, i went out in the sweater, yoga pants and boots to pick up balloons today. But I was wearing big sunglasses, so I guess that's okay,
If you brushed your teeth and had deodorant on, you surpassed me today. It's too cold to do anything other than shuffle around in pjs.
I think we may have the same robe! LOL! I've been living in it. Our downstairs is so cold. My husband was out-of-town for a week and I got the house clean but I was so gross. I was thinking the same thing about myself - welcome home, Babe. Welcome home!
Ha Ha ha...welcome home to the dream...love it!
As I was reading this, I was cringing, knowing that I'm pretty much in the same outfit (minus the barrettes, due to having boys not girls).
At least we're aware of it! There are plenty out there who aren't, as proven by trips to the store, seeing grown women wearing pajamas.
Yes Kathleen. I've lived in the south. Going to the Walmart there always made me feel extra classy.
That's too funny! I totally put hairclips in my hair too as I find them! ;)
