Yay! It's Fourth of July this week. I LOVE Independence day. All about grilling and friends and fireworks and feeling all happy about being American. In honor of this special holiday, I have teamed up with coupons.com and seven incredible bloggers to show off some rad patriotic DIY projects. And if that wasn't enough, we are doing a giveaway sponsored by coupons.com for $200 to either JoAnn’s or Home Depot! Not too shabby.
As for my project, I wanted to show you something everyone can do. And afford.
Oh, goodness, SO MANY! We are moving into our first house next week, so the top of my fun diy list is a reading nook in my office (there is a perfect open closet down there so my littles can snuggle up with a book even when I have to work).
ReplyDeleteI want to re-upholster and paint an accent chair.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I want to sew a dress for my little girl...and recover the dining chairs...and about a million other things...
ReplyDeleteI would love to make a cute banner for my daughters birthday and we want to do a waterfall in our backyard. amypugmire@live.com
ReplyDeleteI love your flag!!!
ReplyDeleteWe're moving soon so I know I'd use it to sew decor for our new house
or (for Home Depot) redo the front yard.
I want to make a quilt for a newly adopted baby in my ward.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! My Grammy still makes cross stitch(es?) for each new grand baby with all their birth info.
ReplyDeleteOur next DIY projects are a coat bench in the entry and a kitchen island using a base cabinet and wood flooring for butcher block... Home Depot knows us well! Haha
This looks pretty cool- jewelry repurposed!

i'd love to paint a project on a bedroom wall
ReplyDeleteI'd like to make a quilted tote bag for summer. thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI would pick up some fabric for a sewing creation. Probably for two of those car seat cooler things that I keep seeing on Pinterest, so my poor toddlers don't keep burning their legs when getting in the car every day!
ReplyDeleteI want to make patriotic food! Such as a berry and yogurt parfait. That, and a patriotic manicure. Those are the projects I want to create :-)
ReplyDeleteI would use Save 40% Off One Regular Priced Item from JoAnns to get some fabric for my bulliten board!

I just saw a straw pinwheel wreath that I thought looked awesome. Fourth of July isn't usually a holiday I decorate for but the wreath made me want to decorate patriotic style. It's my birthday too so guess that's where my focus is. :)
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time I did some cross stitching, but it has been so long that I think I'd love to try your flag and see how rusty my skills are!
