My little herb garden is pretty much growing out of control. It's wonderful, but I hate to let any of these scrumptious herbs go to waste. Last week I took my shears out and put together some "herb bags" for a couple of my friends. Basil, rosemary and thyme all carefully placed in a simple lunch sack and tied with a bit of raffia. Very rustic. My friends were thrilled and the bags smelled incredible.
Have chickens? This would the cutest gift ever if you brought over a few farm fresh eggs.
Nothing like scrambled eggs with fresh herbs and a touch of parmesan.
I think that's what I'm going to make myself for my birthday today. I need something healthy since I peaked into Shane's grocery bag and apparently he is making yet another elephant size birthday cake. You can see here that has a tendency to do that.
