Next weekend I am off for a little jaunt thru New York City. Notice I didn't say "we". That is right. I am going to NY sans daughter or husband. Four days JUST ME! I have only had one 24 hour period away from both of them in the last 3 years! This is 4 days. I would love to kick it in NY with Shane - but since babysitters are scarce - this suits me just fine.*
While traipsing through the big apple I plan on dining out, hitting the spa and...going shopping for one of my readers! For this giveaway I am going to fill a package full of NY treasures specially picked for whomever is randomly chosen. I'm just going to say it. This is the coolest giveaway ever. Now - please note - I'm not going to be dropping a paycheck at Prada or anything - but who needs to when there are so many amazing boutiques to explore!

Oh how fun! My "style" is just to be comfortable! How boring is that? I love to wear fun pajama bottoms around the house with a tshirt, or if it's winter, a sweatshirt. Don't worry, I don't leave the house looking like that! Thanks!

I also love handmade children's toys (and I have 2 kids so that is convenient).
My mom went to New York 2 years ago and she came back with the neatest hand knit finger puppets she had bought from a street vendor for about $2 each!

I'm pretty simple and love cute citchy type things. I also love unique finds, thrift store stuff and the like. I LOVE flowers and gardening and yes, sports.

What a fantastic trip and break!! Hope it is fabulous. My style is slightly funky and definitely bookish, but more mommish than ever with four kids. The one I want is giraffe print with white straps. It is so cute. I have the yellow one and the pink one. I talked the guy down to $20 for it. ReplyDeleteI'm definitely a jeans and tshirt girl. I said girl, not guy. I like girly styles. smells, and colors. I love blue. And Pink. Uh, purple. Ok, anything except yellow and orange(those colors are best on flowers)

ReplyDeleteStyle? WHat style? I guess mine would be jeans and tshirt accessorized with spit up and drool. I'm a stay at home mom and pretty much just stay comfortable unless I am required to dress up. Other than that I buy plain solid shirts, no stripes or patterns. Boring I guess

ReplyDeleteMy closet is full of solid colors, I rarely buy anything with a print ... who knows why ... I am just not attracted to them. I do like to wear them when I get them as gifts though. :)
I don't wear makeup very often but when I do it is minimal & has some shimmer.
Pretty simple.
My style seems to change through the years, I get great ideas from my friends the over the top gals, they have great style, and I love to shop around their home and steal their unique ideas.
ReplyDeleteok, i'm going to try this again. my style is classic with some sassy. I will wear classic outfits and then add a funkcy or girlie shoe or accessory. I think accessories are the unsung heroes of the closet. I have found a great blet, bag, or shoe or jewlery is what an outift needs. Great idea for a giveway and have fun in NYC

My style is ultra casual. Jeans, T-shirts, sandals all year round. I wear an XXL size, so there's nothing too high fashion in that size! I like cookbooks, cooking -- and, eating.

I'd say my style is casual, classic and comfortable. I like a bit of the trends but not full-out because I can't stand having to stop wearing something the next season simply because it looks too dated.

Is it too late? My style is anything I find in NYC! I used to live there but had to move back to UTAH (so not Manhattan). I am deprived. I am basically having a love affair with century 21 in my closet.
