A Little Last Minute Love


Shane and I have a babysitter tonight. I told him I would plan a little romantic date. Something other than dinner out and a movie. I would love a little beach picnic. However, in a land locked state, that might be a tad difficult. Maybe in a few months when we go on vacation. With two children. Hum....maybe not so romantic.

Anyway, any good last minute date ideas?

    We were at the Terminal last night (downtown). It's a brewery...just what we need huh? Anyways, the food was good and they have a really great outdoor patio.

    Copy the photograph, but do it at the park instead of the beach. Then go ice blocking! And film it! I would LOVE to see you ice blocking! Is that romantic enough? Yup.

    if there are any nearby lakes you could still have your beach scene, it would just lakefront instead, otherwise, how about a picnic at the Reflections Riding Arboretum and Botanic Garden? or a trip to the local art museum?     There are tons of places that you can still have a beautiful picnic. Or go to different places...one for dinner, one for dessert.
