This Giveaway Has Ended
There are a lot of self-publishing companies out there, and I've tried almost all of them. Seriously though, you haven't really seen anything until you have tried Blurb. Blurb is a creative book-publishing platform that lets anyone produce their own bookstore-quality book. Blurb’s BookSmart software is totally free to download at http://www.blurb.comand/ and includes a huge (HUGE!) variety of professionally designed layouts.
One of my very favorite options is the ability to "Slurp" a blog. My blog is kind of a journal for me. Blurb will go into your blog and "slurp" all of the photos and posts in your blog for you to organize into a book! I am in the middle of doing one for myself and I am LOVING it!Blurb has graciously given 4 book credits of $29.95 to be awarded to you! That is 4 winners for this giveaway alone. Just think of the Christmas gifts you could make with that! Photo album for Grandma, recipe book for Mom, finally getting your wedding album done......

I loved all of those books at Blurb! I have been meaning to make my blog into a book for a while now, but just wasn't sure where to go to do that! So, thanks! Also, I started blogging right after my son was born, so it would be so great to have some sort of journal/scrapbook of his first few years of life, since I write all of the cute stories, and put up all of my favorite pictures of him, its perfect for a little 'life book' for him so far! So, pick me, pick me! :)

yeah..I don't know about this whole Blurb thing. It's hard to decide... I always think "I could print it out myself and make it cute" So I'd want it to give it a try. Then I could actually say I tried it and I'd be willing to spend money on it. We'll see!

Vanessa sent me over, and I love this idea!! I would slurp up my best pages of my blog as a scrapbook for ME. I invest all of my extra time in my children's so I think it would be a great idea to have a little something about who I am, in the mix of all this.

My little boy was born with clubfoot, so I have a number of posts on my blog that revolve around his casting and brace process. I would "Blurb" just his posts into a book. for a keepsake for when he is older. What better way is there to preserve these moments of his life

What a cool way to make a book! I would make a book for an online widower friend of mine who lost his wife almost a year ago. His wife and I were on a message board together and I have been trying to come up with a fitting way to present him with her posts and pictures over the past 2 years.

I would love to win a blurb book! I am working on typing up my firstborn's pregnancy and birth story. The pg was super high risk, bed rest from 6-29 weeks, multiple problems. Owen was born at 29 weeks, such a miracle!! I would love for him to have a book to read to his kids about what a miracle his very life is. God has a special purpose for our Boy!

If I won a book credit, this is what I'd do. We lost my MIL to breast cancer this past January when my son was only 11 months old. She didn't even get to see him turn 1. I've been saving any pictures that I have of her so that we can let my son know what a wonderful woman she was. So, I would do a book for him about his grandma.

My blog is my journal too! I have recently started using Blurb to document my 200+ blog entries. It is addicting to create such a masterpiece.
I've always wanted to make a nice cookbook with family recipes in it. Not to be cooked from directly, but so we can always have those memories and recipes and who they came from/stories behind them.

I've been wanting to do a Blurb book for awhile now! I would LOVE to do my blog, but I want to wait a little longer. Great giveway. I would have a hard time deciding what to do. I love the idea of a family cookbook but my twin boys are just turning 2 and I have no photo album put together for them yet so maybe that is what I would do.

Although I'm torn because I have a study abroad blog that I'd love to turn into a book, I am pretty sure that I would finish my brother and sis-in-law's wedding album for Christmas. It's almost been two years since the wedding!
